Reading for pleasure will be our focus this year across the federation. Children are encouraged to bring a book of their own choice into school in their book bag. Time will be allocated across the school week for children to read this book for pleasure. A book list of recommended high quality reads for specific year groups will be sent home shortly. Please click here for the Parents English Update Newsletter that was sent home last week containing further information. Please make a note of the ENGLISH PARENTS MEETING on Tuesday 25th September at 3.30pm (Junior Hall) at which the English developments for this year will be discussed fully.
