Woodville C.E. Junior School is part of the Leicester diocese and has close links with St Stephen’s Church Woodville. The children regularly visit St Stephen’s and during their career at Woodville C.E. Junior School have the opportunity to lead acts of collective worship. Father Michael Fish is a regular visitor to school and leads our act of collective worship every month.
Information about St. Stephen’s can be found here: http://www.christtheredeemer.org.uk/?page_id=32
This year each class has written their own Class Prayer and we finish our acts of collective worship with this Class Prayer, our School Prayer or the prayer that Jesus taught us (The Lord’s Prayer). Here is our school prayer:
This is our School
Let peace dwell here,
Let the rooms be full of contentment,
Let love abide here,
Love of mankind,
Love of one another,
Love of life itself
And love of God.
Let us remember that
For every hand that builds a house,
Every heart makes a school.
Amen
