Speech mark rules
Click on the image and watch the cartoon showing you how to add speech marks within spoken text. Once you have finished watching it write some sentences of your own including the speech marks placed correctly.

Task
Children are to produce a poster about the Stone age to show what they have learnt about how to survive. Encourage children to think about food, making tools, clothing and homes. Children are to write sentences and illustrate their ideas using labelled diagrams.
German 05.01.21
Introduce the numbers 1-10 by using the following website for the children to join in and sing along. Repeat the song a few times until the children start grasping the numbers pronounced in German.

The children are to complete Worksheet Number 4 where they are to draw a line from the number to its corresponding sound.

Close your eyes and listen to Louis Armstrong’s ‘What a Wonderful World’ then tell the Jewish and Christian creation story from Genesis 1:1-25 in child friendly language. You might introduce it using guided visualisation see Creation Resource sheet 1.
