We are so very proud of all of Silver class. Everyone has worked hard and settled into routines well. We hope you all had a lovely break and are looking forward to coming back to school to start learning all about different celebrations.
We will be thinking about if we always need a cake in order to celebrate.
w/c 5th October
We had a great week thinking about good and bad characters, counting to 5 and beginning to think about the changes we see in Autumn. We had a very messy week with lots of painting, mark making and play in porridge oats and we found out how to make porridge. Everyone had their very first school photo as well and looked lovely!
Sunflower, our mascot, also turned 5 this week and we took it in turns to set her up a little party then on Friday afternoon in our Golden time we had a disco for her.
All the children choose their first library book to share at home with their families.
Everyone has had a lovely first two full weeks in Silver class.
All of the children are working hard, enjoying making new friends and are getting into good routines. They have really enjoyed taking part in Dough Disco and love it when it is our turn to use the outside spaces.
Our topic is all about Traditional Tales and we are doing lots of listening to stories, activities based on the stories and making up our own stories.
During the week beginning 05th October we are going to make our own porridge, think about good and bad characters and write our numbers to 5.

School doesn't normally look like this, but we have the rooms set up especially for our smaller 'pod' groups that are in school at the moment. We cannot wait to welcome you to a bright and sunny building in September.
