Forky will celebrate with us when we are Star of the Week
Our penguin will watch us to make sure we are sitting nicely, using kind hands, looking after our equipment, listening and working hard.
This is nosey bear, nosey helps us to know what we are learning each day, and helps us to follow our golden rules.
Each day we start on the sunshine, if we use unkind hands or break the rules, our pegs get moved to the thinking clouds, if we continue to break the rules we get moved onto the sad cloud and have to miss 5 minutes of playtime.
If we wow the adults with kind behaviour or super work we can move onto the rainbow and then we can go in the dippy box.
Each day we can earn marbles for good behaviour, each Friday in celebration assembly the class with the most marbles wins the behaviour trophy.
This week we got 29 marbles

We came back to a busy day learning all about 🍞 bread. We learnt about the ingredients and where they come from, we git to sample a variety of different breads with jam or butter. We then used the ingredients to make our own dough, it was tricky getting the consistency just so.
We tried different flavoured popcorns too.

Our wedding 👰🏽
What a brilliant day we had at the wedding of pink and Gold Class. The bride and groom looked fantastic, as did the mother and father of the groom and bride.
The bridesmaids did a great job with the brides dress which kept falling down.
the father of the bride walked his daughter to the awaiting groom and best man. The vicar did a great service ( except for dropping the rings) and the cameraman took some lovely photos of the guests.
We have been super busy since coming back after half term, we are learning about celebrations. We have learnt about birthdays, fireworks, Diwali, Remembrance Day, children in need and celebrated diabetes day too.
We have decorated poppy biscuits, made diva lamps, looked at fireworks and bonfires. We have written party invitations and birthday lists.
This Week we celebrated nosey's birthday, we made 5 cakes in maths. We investigated if a gingerbread man would sink or float in the river, we looked at what happened to the gingerbread man when he went into the water. We also made our own gingerbread men.
In literacy, we learnt the story of the gingerbread man and how to put it back in the correct order too.
