Hello Class 12! How are you all? I am so sorry it has been a couple of weeks since I wrote. I am fine and so are my two boys. I am home schooling Henry and he said I am a good teacher - well, that's ok then, I won't give up my day job! Potty training got scrapped - I can't even put on here what happened but all I will say it involved James and the dog (Bertie). Potty training will resume when I can face it all again ha ha ha!
We have enjoyed going on some nice walks and exploring. We like it at Calke Abbey, Albert Village Lake and around Moria canal. Keep looking out for you but I haven't seen anyone yet.
The Year 6 team have been busy with planning and talking with the secondary schools about you! I will repeat what I said a couple of weeks ago, it has been lovely to make a note of all your good qualities and remember our class as it was. Missing you all very much but I LOVE seeing all your pictures and receiving any work you produce. Then are making some good plans for when you join them, so don't panic, it will all come together. I know some of you are already emailing or talking to your next teachers, but don't forget, you can always get your parents to email me too. Love to hear from you.
I am going to spend some time catching up on emails this week - please keep them coming!
I hope you are enjoying our topic this half-term. Well done! Keep going with the activities being set for you - TO A YEAR 6 STANDARD.
Check out the 'Shine out! Shout out!' section.. . Who is going to get a shout out next week? I am looking for amazing work; pictures doing something new/ creative/ impressive/ curriculum-based/ a life-skill/ a hobby; video clips/ recordings of you on your bike/ trampoline/ footballing and so on! Write a poem, let me share it! Anything! Let's see what you're up to and keep in touch. I am missing you all terribly.
Mrs Robinson and Mrs Savory are both OK too. Mrs Robinson is in school full-time and seeing some of you from afar and Mrs Savory is working from home still.
I'll write again soon. Take care.
